2019 SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL KIDS’ FILM FESTIVAL CALL FOR Film/TV/Screenplay/Song ENTRIES

San Diego, CA - The 2019 San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival (SDIKFF) will take place from August 23rd to 25that the Schulman Auditorium in Carlsbad, California. On behalf of the SDIKFF committee, we cordially invite you to submit your film/TV/Screenplay/songs to the 2019 San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival. The 2019 SDIKFF official selection (both films and screenplays) will have complementary display area at the film market booth, the festival galas will have talent to sing the official selected songs live; and the screenplay showcase will let the selected screenplay from words on paper to actors on stage

Aiming to promote positive educational impact on children and the youth, the San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival actively supports innovative films made by filmmakers from around the globe. The festival offers an excellent multicultural platform to engage aspiring filmmakers, kids, and educators alike: screening quality films, television episodes, and screenplay showcase play in short and feature length, as well as works in documentaries, animations, educational visual arts, and mixed media.

SDIKFF is in its journey to become the premier film festival on the children and family scene. In its 3 days event, the 2019 SDIKFF will host Opening Night Gala,  Industrial Panel Discussions, Screenplay showcase, Red Carpet Award Ceremony, Family Film Market, Cultural Angel Pageant. These events will help facilitate interactions between filmmakers and the local kids. Youth and adult critiques will give comments to the selected films after screenings, and volunteer interpreters will assist with non-English speaking filmmakers during the events.. An outstanding committee of industry personnel is serving on the film juries. And film distributors will be present at the festival to secure wanted material.
