American Theatre of Harlem is currently accepting submissions for its 8th Annual CULTURES COLLIDE Community Film Festival. This year's festival runs from February 23 – February 26, 2012. CULTURES COLLIDE celebrates the efforts of multicultural films and filmmakers and features an industry panel. Each night concludes with the Audience Choice presentation, where the audience chooses its favorite film. The CULTURES COLLIDE Community Film Festival, located in the arts community of Fort Greene, Brooklyn, culminates in the presentation of the Community Treasure award. Your Voice, Your Story, Your Impact
Youth culture is bursting with creativity and energy, and now, more than ever, young people are exploring their world through the lens of a camera. Enrollment in media arts courses continues to grow and the proliferation of multi-media and film expression on the internet has exploded.
The Toronto Student Film Festival was created to celebrate, support and inspire our youth and their artistic expression via short film. Since its inception in 2006, the Toronto Student Film Festival has received hundreds of entries from students around the world --- a true testament to its goal of promoting youth expression through film.The TSFF aims to:
Promote student expression and artistic development of multi-media skills through film-making, on issues and topics of interest to youth and without interference.
Provide a venue for young film-makers to screen their work and interact with industry professionals.
Stimulate student confidence and innovation through official recognition of their artistic achievements.
The 5th Annual Toronto Student Film Festival will be held April 24, 2010. All submissions must be in by March 22, 2010. It is free to submit a fim. You must be 21 or younger as of January1, 2010.

A film festival to celebrate the joining of art, science and technology in the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci. Held each year in Corvallis, Oregon (USA), the festival accepts films in feature, short, documentary, and young filmmaker categories. The festival also awards the 'Spirit of da Vinci' prize to the film that best captures the relationship between art and technology. The festival began in 2000 and has continued to grow each year.

The European Independent Film Festival (ÉCU) continues its commitment of being at the centre of discovery, promotion and projection of the very best independent filmmaking talent from around the world.
ÉCU will showcase films that demonstrate quality, innovation and independence in both form and content. There are fifteen categories of films in this highly esteemed competitive festival ranging including features, shorts, documentaries, animation and student films.
While ÉCU’s goal is to bring worldwide attention to European independent filmmakers, there are also four foreign categories open to independent filmmakers from the Americas, Africa and Asia.
The European Independent Film Festival (ÉCU) has established itself as a fantastic arena for independent filmmakers from around the world to screen their films to large audiences made up of a cinema-loving public who are seeking alternatives to the offerings of major studios, as well as to agents, talent scouts, production company representatives, distributors and established producers looking for new projects and raw talent. Of course several hundred independent filmmakers from around the world will be in Paris to participate in the ÉCU.

The Terrace Theaters of Charleston, SC are please to announce The
Charleston Film Festival. The Charleston Film Festival brings the best
of local and national films to the Charleston community. It has two
locations, one on the Charleston Harbor, and the other in James Island.
Scheduled for March 11-14 2009, the Charleston Film Festival will bring

Go Short is an annual new, refreshing film festival for European short films. It is a unique event in The Netherlands at which the audience is treated to short films. The festival's main location is the local multifunctional arthouse LUX.
Go Short is the Dutch festival for short film. For five days, around 300
short films are screened in Nijmegen. Besides screenings there are
exhibitions, workshops, performances, parties and more!
Established in 2008 Go Short shows a wide variation of short films, most
of them made by young, talented filmmakers from all over Europe. The
festival's main program contains national, international, student and
online competitions (containing fiction, animation, documentary and art
